Mauritius pronounced officially the Republic of Mauritius is an island nation off the southeast coast of the African continent in the southwest Indian Ocean, about 900 kilometres (560 mi) east of Madagascar. In addition to the island of Mauritius, the Republic includes the islands of Cargados Carajos, Rodrigues and the Agalega Islands. Mauritius's area is 2040 km2; its capital city is Port Louis. Mauritius is a sparkling crystal in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
The contrast of colours, cultures and tastes makes the island so charming that the scene is set for an unforgettable holiday. The International Conference Centre in Grand Bay and the Freeport Exhibition Centre in Mer Rouge are popular. Mauritius is a paradise for deep sea fishing. Species include the blue or black marlin, all types of sharks, yellow tuna, the Bonitos, the ‘emperor’, the ‘pélerin’, the ‘bécune’ or the barracuda. Huge fishes like the Blue Marlin roam in seas and hunt around the island. There are different destinations to visit in Mauritius the main are Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens, Chamarel coloured Earths & Waterfalls, Casela Bird Park, Ile Aux Certs, Domain Les Pailles, Aquarium, Le Vale nature park, Tamarine Falls, Karting, La Vanile crocodile and Tortoise Park, Waterpark, Grand Basin, Rochester Falls and Glass Gallery.
Itinerary
Day 01
After your arrival in Mauritius,our representative will meet you and transfer you to hotel.Mauritius is famous as a honeymoon destination through out the world and has some of the best botanical gardens,natural lakes,coral reefs and white sandy beaches.Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02
After breakfast,we take you for a full day tour to north island of Mauritius where we will visit Port Luis which is the multicultural capital city.Port Louis has one of the world's finest botanical gardens and is a cosmopolitan and classy city with a very active and vibrant night life with lots of pubs and clubs. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03
After breakfast,we take you for a full day south island tour of Mauritius.We take you to places such as Curepipe(Famous for mini volcanic crater), Charamel and Trox aux cerfs(605 metres high and 984 metres in diameter extinct volcano in Grand Basin), island's mountainous centre with Black River Gorges National Park will also be shown in this tour. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04
After breakfast,we take you for a full day Ile aux Cerf's tour in Mauritius, it is a beautiful Coral island situated east of Mauritius.It has beautiful beaches and at low tide, one can almost reach the smaller and more quiet Ile de L'Est which is joined to Ile aux Cerfs by an attractive sand bar.Beaches on the island's west side can be a good spot for sun bathing and swimming. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and we transfer you to airport to board flight for return/onward destination.
